Taper Madness: In the form of indecision

Hello fellow taperworms! How have you all been feeling? Last night I went to see my lovely massage therapist, Gail. She always manages to find knots and spots that I didn't even know needed to be worked on. Also, we probably should not have been talking about politics during the massage. OUCH. I'm glad to say I can actually walk today, as opposed to other times when I've seen her for a specific issue.

The taper is definitely doing a number on me mentally. I am not a decisive person by nature, I like when people make the call for me. So it really didn't surprise me that when I got an email yesterday from Groupon, boasting a deal for a DC hotel, that the gears in my mind started working. I hemmed and hawed about it for a few hours, and by the end of the day I had switched hotels. Although I am a little further away from the start/end of the race, I am smack in the middle of downtown, so I hope to do some more sight seeing. And still make it to the Dairygod Mother for some pumpkin frozen custard.

So...that's it! Taperrific. Tapermazing. Taper.........

  1. Wow, I'm just looking at your race times and being impressed. No wonder you have your own massage person! I run a 5K and head straight for the spa as a reward. Hmmm...think you deserve it more! ;) Good luck.
